I have been a member of Muree Golf Club for 3 years and a Director for 2 years.

I nominated for the Board as I believed I could contribute with my experience and business acumen. I was the Regional Loss Prevention (security) Manager for Big W, NSW. My wife, Vicki, and myself successfully owned and managed two country motels. (Forbes and Inverell). We lived in Tea Gardens for 14 years and I was on the Board of Directors of Hawks Nest Golf Club for 13 years. The last 8 years as President.

I am the chairperson of the Port Stephens Liquor Accord. I play C grade pennants for Muree in the Newcastle District Golf Association as well as being on the Match Committee for that Association.

The Muree Golf Club has great potential and with the right guidance and management can become a first class golf course and clubhouse for our members and guests.
